Lexus Safety System+, our new suite of safety technologies designed to help prevent collisions before they ever happen. With features like Lane Departure Alert* with Steering Assist,* Lane Keep Assist,* and a Pre-Collision System* with Pedestrian Detection* and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control,* drivers will feel safer and more secure.
PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM (PCS) WITH PEDESTRIAN DETECTION SYSTEM
With millimeter-wave radar and a camera,* the available PCS* helps give your Lexus the ability to "see" pedestrians and vehicles that you might not under certain conditions. Audio and visual alerts are designed to help prevent or mitigate collisions, call attention to your surroundings, and are assisted by Automatic Emergency Braking, which, depending on the system, is designed to help reduce the amount of impact energy by applying the brakes on some models, and brake the car to a stop in others. LANE DEPARTURE
LANE DEPARTURE ALERT
Available Lane Departure Alert* is designed to use audio-visual cues and steering wheel vibrations to warn drivers when the system determines that they are accidentally drifting into another lane. A camera monitors visible lane markings to determine where your Lexus is in relation to the lane in which you are driving. To learn more about Lane Departure Alert, click here.

LANE DEPARTURE ALERT WITH STEERING ASSIST
Some vehicles offer Lane Departure Alert* with Steering Assist* which uses a camera to monitor visible lane markings, and is designed to warn you if you are drifting so that you can steer back into the lane—and can even actively help steer the vehicle back into the lane of travel.

LANE KEEP ASSIST
Lane Keep Assist* is designed to help prevent inadvertent lane departure by controlling the steering to help make it easier for the driver to remain within lane markings.
HIGH-SPEED DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL
High-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control* helps drivers maintain a preset distance on highways by adjusting the driver’s speed in relation to the vehicle traveling directly in front of them. Millimeter-wave radar monitors the vehicle ahead to help maintain the preset distance. To learn more about High-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, click here.
